
When Lana Del Rey played Brazil there was no snow on the beach. However, there was a problem with a missing vape.
Lana’s play was shared with an audience at the MITA Festival in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday (May 27), her first live performance in more than three years.
As the alternative pop artist and her band kicked off in the song “Norman F-ing Rockwell,” she closed with an audible remark: “And if you see my rape on stage, can you get past my rape on stage? ”
In a video capturing the moment, Del Rey can be heard talking to someone.
“You did? Where though? Oh, all the way down the pit?”
She was not going there. “F—it,” he said, admitting defeat.
Del Rey has a habit of losing her vaping device. According to Page Six, she lost her little Nicotine friend during a Portland concert in 2019. In a scene not dissimilar to what happened in Rio, Del Rey halted proceedings to begin a search. Cue the obtuse swearing – “Where’s my f-ing vape?” – which resulted in Del Rey giving up and continuing with her set.
Besides amnesia, Del Rey has a lot to be happy about. His late 2012 release, “Say Yes to Heaven”, debuted in the UK top 10, and a new edit of “Snow on the Beach”, his collaboration with Taylor Swift, could propel the track into the top 10. when the Official UK Singles Chart is published on Fridays.

The MITA Festival marked Del Rey’s first full concert tour since November 2019. Since then, she has appeared in such TV shows as Late Show with Stephen Colbert And The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonand appeared on stage with Bleachers at the High Water Festival in 2023.
