
‘Anti Social Camp’ – which calls itself “the world’s largest songwriting camp” – will run from June 12-17, bringing together writers, producers and artists from around the world in New York City for 100 separate sessions Will be brought and parties around town.
Camp is presented as a global celebration gathering for creatives with the goal of revitalizing New York City’s music scene. established by Danny Ross, a music producer and professor at Berklee NYC, the camp began during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, with a group of music producers working together over Zoom to continue session work during the lockdown. The camp will feature approximately 150 artists from Andy Grammer, Moby, Walk the Moon, Grace VanderWaal, X Ambassadors, Cotius Clay and more.
Today, May 30, Camp has announced its official business partners for 2023, including title partner, Emuse; Presenting Partners New York City Mayor’s Office of Media + Entertainment, YouTube Music, SESAC and Cloud Microphones; and contributing sponsors Sonic Royalties, The Orchard Publishing, Amazon Music, Oxsound, BMI, Spotify, Topo Chico, HIFI, Hipgnosis Songs Fund, ABKCO Music & Records and The Recording Academy New York Chapter.
In addition, the camp will partner with the following venues and studios: The New School, Brooklyn Brewery, D’Angelico Guitars and elsewhere, Invite Only Studio, You Can Woo Too, Platinum Sound Studios, Dimension 70, Flux Studio NYC , 343 Labs, Bunker, Red Convertible Recording, Fever Dream Studios, Breakout Productions, Cynthia Studios and Kiara Studios.
Amazon Music will host writing sessions for artists, songwriters and producers at its Brooklyn office throughout the week.
