Every year when the weather warms up in NYC, Bryant Park hosts free yoga classes for residents and tourists alike. The program typically runs from late May to late September.
For Summer 2023, classes will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays except July 4. Sessions are also held at 6 pm on Wednesdays through August, and evening classes will begin at 5:30 pm in September.
Registration is required to attend, and a waiver must be completed in advance. To participate, you are encouraged to bring your own yoga mat, water and a towel if needed.
2. Seattle Free Walking Tour – Seattle, Wash.
In many large cities, you can find free walking tours run by non-profit organizations. You are encouraged to pay what you feel comfortable with, even if your choice is $0.
Such options are especially great in cities with expensive travel, like Seattle.

The museum in DC has interactive exhibits that explore language use, ranging from a quick karaoke session that ends with music lessons, to a test of who’s the funniest person in your family.
General admission is free, and the museum is open Monday through Sunday with varying hours.
4. The Jazz Museum’s Courtyard Concert Series – New Orleans, LA.
On Tuesdays at 2 p.m., live jazz concerts take place in the courtyard of the New Orleans Jazz Museum. This experience is completely free and usually lasts one hour.
To attend the event, you must obtain a pass from the front desk of the museum. Passes are only available on the day of the show you plan to attend, from 10 a.m.
